RomoCoat 1255 – Zinc Phosphate Flow Primer
Radiator DIP Coating (Immersion Coating)

RomoCoat 1255 is a high-performance zinc phosphate–based flow primer specially developed for radiator dip (immersion) coating applications. It provides superior corrosion protection and long-term durability to radiator components.
The primer actively inhibits rust formation on steel and metal substrates by forming a protective zinc phosphate layer, which acts as a strong and stable base for subsequent topcoats.
A key speciality of RomoCoat 1255 is its bubble-free flow coating performance, ensuring smooth, uniform films even in immersion applications.
RomoCoat 1255 is a two-component, phenalkamine-cured, air-drying primer, pigmented with zinc phosphate, suitable for both industrial and heavy-duty protective coating systems.

  • Excellent anti-corrosive protection
  • Bubble-free, smooth flow coating
  • Durable and uniform coating film
  • Superior adhesion to metal surfaces
  • Good water and moisture resistance
  • Fast drying, enabling efficient production cycles
  • Compatible with epoxy and alkyd-based topcoats

Ideal for flow and dip coating processes
It is ideally suited for Radiator DIP (Immersion) Coating, where bundles of radiator fins—typically made of steel or aluminum—are immersed into a coating tank containing the primer.

This process ensures:

  • Complete coverage, including hard-to-reach areas
  • Uniform and consistent film thickness
  • Enhanced corrosion protection of the entire assembly
